Grounded in the assumption of our body’s innate capacity to heal, the following integrative approaches are offered to support optimal health and well-being:

MEDITATION

 

A practice of returning to the present moment through non-judgmental awareness of your experience. Meditation invites us to notice the feeling of our breath as the movement of our inner being.

Self-Compassion

 

Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) is an intensive 8-week group focused on changing the relationship we have with ourselves through mindfulness, self-kindness, and a felt sense of common humanity. Here, we learn to turn towards suffering and difficult emotions with curiosity and compassion.

Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is an intensive 8-week training in mindfulness with a specific focus on exploration of stress reactivity and use of mindfulness for stress, chronic pain, chronic illness, and so much more.

 

 

YOGA

 

Yoga is believed to be a vehicle of transformation towards our highest selves.  Every change is yoga.  Whether that be touching your toes, learning to see yourself more clearly, or deeper awareness of the breath, each movement- physically and emotionally- is yoga.
